How does it work?
Access to healthcare shouldn’t be a luxury; all people should have access to affordable, convenient, high-quality healthcare. It is our belief that people, regardless of insurance or location, should be able to treat every day minor illnesses in an affordable and convenient way that fits their needs. It was for this reason that AcuteMedOnline was founded. Why pay the expense, or waste time sitting in the waiting room of Urgent Care or clinic for acute, minor, non-urgent illnesses?

AcuteMedOnline has eliminated the need to visit a medical provider in person for acute, minor, non-urgent illnesses for patients 14 and older. Simply Create an Account. Then select from a list of common illnesses, answer the questions related to your symptoms, and provide a valid credit card for a single fee of $35. We will evaluate your information, provide a treatment plan, and submit a prescription (if applicable) to your selected pharmacy, all while you comfortably rest at home. All requests received from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday will be processed the same day. If we are not able to provide a diagnosis, your credit card will not be charged.

What are the hours of operation?
Site is available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Prescriptions will only be sent during regular business hours, Monday - Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
When will I receive my prescription?
All requests received before 6 p.m. will be processed the same day. If your visit results in practitioner prescribing a medication that is not available over-the-counter, your prescription will be sent to the preferred pharmacy to be filled.
Do I have to speak face-to-face with the provider?
No, we understand that most people do not feel like speaking face-to-face with anyone when they are not feeling well. AcuteMedOnline has eliminated the need to visit a medical provider in person for minor acute illnesses. You simply create an account with your personal history, select your symptoms and answer the related questions. We will review your information and if a prescription is required it will be sent directly to your pharmacy by the end of business day so that you can start feeling better sooner. All requests received before 4 p.m. will be processed the same day.
How much does it cost per visit?
There is a flat fee of $35 per visit.
What ages do you treat?
We currently only treat patients 14 and older.
How will you communicate with us?
After you create an account, we can communicate via our safe and secure patient portal. You will receive email notifications at the address you provide regarding the status of your session, and can log into your portal for safe, private communications regarding your diagnosis.
What if I have a question, concern or something I forgot to include on my request?
If you are a current patient with a question regarding a past or ongoing visit, please contact your practitioner through your patient portal on your account. All other inquires can be submitted to info@acutemedonline.com; we aim to answer all emails within 24 hours of receipt. Please note the name and last four digits of your social so we can ensure we are referencing the correct account.
Do you provide prescriptions for controlled substances?

Payment & Billing
When will I be billed for my visit?
The payment method on file on your account will be charged following visit completion.
Do you accept insurance?
No, we charge a flat fee of $35 per visit. Patients are welcome to submit fees to their insurance company at their own discretion.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations can be made at any point after a visit has been submitted, but prior to the visit being accepted and completed by the provider. If a cancellation is needed, please send a message via your account portal to the provider so that we can delete your request and your card will not be charged.
What is your refund policy?
After a visit is submitted, your card will not be charged until the visit has been accepted and completed by the provider; if a visit has been submitted and was not canceled prior to the provider accepting and completing your visit, there will be no refunds provided. To cancel your visit prior to completion, please send a message via your account portal to the provider so that we can delete your request and your card will not be charged.
